1. Information We Collect

Feedglot is designed to work without an account and without tracking.

• We do not collect, store, or process any personal information on our servers.
• We do not use analytics, advertising identifiers, or third-party tracking SDKs.
• Your feed subscriptions, read/starred state, and settings are stored locally on your device.

2. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud Sync, your feeds, articles, and app settings are synchronized through Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This data remains in your personal iCloud account and is subject to Apple's privacy policies.

3. Translation Services

Feedglot can translate article titles and content using:

• Apple on-device translation (processed locally on your device).
• Online translation engines you configure yourself, such as DeepSeek, OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Anthropic Claude. Your article text is sent directly from your device to the provider you choose, using your own API key. We do not intermediate, log, or store these requests.

4. RSS Content

Feedglot fetches RSS/Atom feeds from URLs you provide. We do not control or host this content. Please review the privacy practices of the publishers you subscribe to.

5. Data Retention

Local data is retained according to the retention setting you choose in the app. You can delete the app or clear its data at any time from your device settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Feedglot is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.

By downloading or using Feedglot, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Feedglot is an RSS reader with optional translation features. It operates primarily on your device and optionally syncs via iCloud.

3. In-App Purchase

• Feedglot Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited article translations.
• All purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds and billing disputes are handled according to Apple's App Store policies.
• Prices and features are subject to change.

4. Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) Translation

If you use an online translation engine with your own API key, you are responsible for the costs, usage, and compliance with that provider's terms. We are not liable for charges, outages, or data handling by third-party providers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Feedglot to infringe copyrights, distribute harmful content, or violate any applicable laws.

6. Disclaimers

Feedglot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Translations are generated by third-party engines and may contain errors. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of RSS feeds you choose to subscribe to.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Feedglot Pro in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
